This image was a self portrait of yours truly. To take it, I had my camera (Nikon D700) set on a tripod with two SB900 speedlights set up just like I would in the studio. The speedlights were set triggered my radiopoppers to retain the TTL. Next, I lit up and attempted to make some smoke clouds. I never smoke so this was quite the experience. After about 30 shots (with the camera’s self-timer) I finally got the shot I was looking for. This shot was taken outside, however, it was a good think Val was working that night as a reeked of smoke. I also made my self really sick – I smoked a whole cigar in 8 minutes (I don’t know if that is a record but for me it was). Well, here is the shot. Enjoy.
