Here is a photograph I took back in 2009 on a family trip to California. I spent a good portion of last night just putting the finishing touches on it – I think it came out great! The location of this photo was actually in Oregon (southern end) at Crater Lake National Park. The interesting fact about this lake is that it is the deepest lake in the United States at 1,943 feet deep. And to think this lake resides on top of a dormant volcano.
