Val and I made a trip to Annapolis MD and Washington D.C. to see our future addition to the family, Jake. Jake is currently attending the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis MD and will soon be my Brother-in-law. We visited the Academy, toured the city, and even made it into Washington D.C. for the afternoon.
Here is the Naval band playing at the annual cricket competition against St. Joseph Academy (a private college).
Of course the freshmen (called Pleebs) has to do anything the upper class says – in this case, hold towels at the competition.
Of course they did loose (I don’t think they have ever won).
In D.C., had a chance to visit the Natural History Museum!
